We would to invite you to the first dance of the semester for Lindy on
Sproul, a FREE weekly swing dance on campus with lesson and dance party. We
dance Lindy Hop, a high-energy and fun partner dance from the 1940’s. The
community we have is welcoming, friendly, and ready to teach those who want
to learn!

Come out on Saturday, August 29, 2009 on Sproul Plaza from 11:45 – 2 to
dance off school stress.

Want to learn to swing dance for FREE? There will be a lesson from 11:45 -
12:30. Lindy on Sproul is a great place to learn to dance as well as
practice and strut your stuff. Our experienced teachers have something for
everyone.

If you are hungry for more swing, the same group offers a DeCal class called
SwingCal. This class meets once a week starting September 1, 2009 from 6 – 8
pm. Here you learn how to dance, get practice and feedback, and learn more
about the dance itself in lecture.
